What Causes Weak And Brittle Nails?
So often when people join our centres in Bedford and Milton Keynes, they come to us and they say they got very weak nails and brittle nails and their fingernails are not the best that they perhaps could be and this is often due to malnutrition. They are not eating as well as they could do and they are lacking two key nutrients.
First Reason – Not Enough Omega-3 In Your Diet
That is, number 1 is Omega-3. So we have talked about this before, but if you do not have enough Omega-3s, you are going to have brittle and weak nails. So we simply get into eating more oily fish. Wild Alaskan salmon is a great option and also occasionally if they need to, to supplement with Omega-3 fish oil.
Second Reason – Inadequate Zinc
Another reason that they have weak and ugly horrible nails is because they are not getting enough zinc. Now it is easy enough to get zinc through eating lots of good grass-fed beef, that type of thing, but also you can simply supplement with zinc tablets and it is pretty simple. I always supplement with zinc and my nails are beautiful. Look! The point is they are not eating all of the nutrients that they could do, therefore they are not going to have the result that they want.
Eating Healthy Unprocessed Diet
So simply supplementing with zinc and eating good healthy unprocessed diet and nutrition, they will get a lot stronger and lot better nails and this is kind of one of the side effects that people realized with, as well as losing a lot of fat and being healthier, and that their nails look stronger and easier to paint.
