Jan’s Journey with The DVCC: “I’ve been yo-yo dieting since I was 20”

Jan owns her own cleaning business and felt herself becoming sluggish at work and putting on weight.

Since starting our 1 to 1 nutrition program just 4 weeks ago though, Jan has already managed to regain her energy and lose over stone through eating 3 meals a day, even with 2 snacks in between!

Now, yoyo diets are a thing of the past and Jan has begun her journey to losing weight through a personalised, healthy and sustainable meal program which is suited to her needs!

 

“My name’s Jan, I’m 50. I started on the nutrition course 4 weeks ago.

I was starting to get a little bit too comfortable and the weight was going on and I was starting to feel slow and lethargic. I’ve yoyo dieted since I was 20.You know there’s that whole thing where
they say, the older you get you can’t lose weight so quickly and all that stuff. I just wanted in a way to prove that wrong.

Everyday I’m eating a really good amount of food. But it’s all the right food. I’ve lost a stone in four weeks, it’s just amazing. I can’t- honestly, I can’t believe it!

Coming here is just like coming and meeting your friends.Working out and going home and feeling fabulous.”
