Shopping & Ingredients List:
- 200g Smoked Firm Tofu
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
Marinade
- 1-2 tbsp Tamari
- ½ tsp Smoked Paprika
To add at the end of frying
- 1 tbsp nutritional Yeast Flakes
- Black Pepper, to own taste
Method
- Slice the smoked tofu as thinly as you can. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, make the marinade by mixing the soya sauce with the smoked paprika.
- Place the rashers in a large baking tray & drizzle with the marinade – using a pastry brush will distribute it more evenly – let it sit for a few minutes.
- Using non-stick frying pan, heat up some oil in the pan on a high heat until it is very hot.
- Fry the tofu slices until quite crispy. Add the yeast flakes and black pepper & fry quickly so it goes a bit crispy.
